About the Gibson Grabber II Bass

The original Gibson Grabber bass was introduced in 1973 & went on to become a true classic. The Limited Run Series Grabber II also utilizes Gibson’s traditional glued-in set maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, which enhances the bass’s tonal quality with great sustain. This bass really has the classic vibe & feel of the original ‘70s instrument whilst crafted for 21st century playability. Each new Grabber II comes with its own Limited Series Run certificate of authenticity and a rocking black Gibson hardshell case with plush white interior and silkscreened Gibson USA logo. The Grabber has been famously played over the years by the likes of Gene Simmons (Kiss), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) & Mike Dirnt (Green day). The model has been out of production since 1982, but thanks to the new Limited Run Series guitars it is available once again for a limited time.
