The Standard Fuzz from Fredric Effects London is a re-engineered version of the much loved noise machine the Ibanez Standard Fuzz. This cranky old fuzz is loved for its super gnarly velcro ripping distortion but, as with a lot of old pedals, is not without its drawbacks...1) It's super rare so original units sell for big bucks and 2) It's super noisy and difficult to control. Tim at Fredric addressed these issues by 1) Making it affordable to mere mortals and 2) Cleaning up the noise floor and making the controls actually balance the sound and not just add noise and squeel!!!
