The bad bits....
There are two repaired splits on the back of the guitar and another on the side that has not been attended to, the end pin hole has been enlarged to accomodate an LR Baggs pickup that has now been removed, the machineheads are not original and there is a fair amount of wear on the neck itself behind the second and third frets. There are alot of marks in the finish especially around the sound hole and several areas of lacquer look like they have been blown over or touched in. The frets are now pretty low in height due to fret dresses over the years, the top shows a degree of bellying and the serial number is almost impossible to see due to a battery compartment for the pickup having been glued and then removed from the neck block.

The good bits...
Our technician has spent alot of time setting this guitar up to play as well as possible including making a new bridge saddle, inspite of the low frets the guitar plays really nicely and sounds great. This is a super cool looking Gibson offered at a very low price compared to others for sale at the moment, a great players guitar and one that could certainly be improved or just enjoyed as it is.
