National Triolian Polychrome, featuring a painted thin-gauge steel body, a 1.82" nut width and a 25" scale length. Complete with case.
The first Triolians were painted in a golden Polychrome finish, highlighted by a stenciled scene on the back featuring the sun setting through swaying palm trees along the shoreline of Paradise. The reissue of the classic Polychrome Triolian not only matches the style of the original, but also the special sound of those first single-cone Nationals. Like the originals, it’s constructed with flat-cut f- holes, a formed back, and traditional non-ribbed coverplate. The Maple neck comes with a Maple fretboard with ivoroid binding and traditional engraved tuners. It includes an adjustable truss rod — something the vintage Nationals lacked. But this reissue doesn’t lack any of the tone of the originals: It still sounds as sweet and rich as a classic 1930s National.
