Atkin's 000 guitars are based very closely on the pre-war guitars which are revered by so many players. The 00037 is prized by players who love sweet, singing trebles on a versatile all-rounder. East Indian Rosewood back and sides compliment the Torrefied Spruce top and make for an exceptional guitar with a fantastic tone.
All Atkin acoustic guitars have an “Aged Finish”. Eight coats of Nitro Lacquer with a yellow tint are applied to give a thin gloss finish, the guitar is then frozen to achieve the vintage look, which includes lacquer cracks and sinking, plus odd blemishes that you would expect from an old instrument. The tuners, bridge pins and saddle are also cosmetically aged to further enhance the appearance.
